I was born in Upland and grew up in Wrightwood, California. I left the mountains and obtained my degree in business from Cal State University Bakersfield. While studying, I worked at an adult contemporary radio station that transitioned to “Thunder Country.” This is where I met my wife, Lisa. We share a fearless, smart, funny, loving and creative daughter.

I have enjoyed being a small business owner and a State Farm Agent. It allows me to do what I enjoy the most...helping people. In my spare time, you can find me restoring my 1963 Mercury Comet convertible. I also enjoy boating & kayacking and spending time with friends and family on it as we cruise around Long Beach and Catalina. I volunteer in the community by serving as board chair of the Los Cerritos YMCA ensuring no child or family is turned away due to their ability to pay for water safety lessons, sports, or before and after school care.
